  1. 21. Synergistic Strategies in Multi-Robot Systems: Exploring Task Assignment and Multi-Agent Pathfinding

    Författare :Yifan Bai; George Nikolakopoulos; Tomi Westerlund; Luleå tekniska universitet; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Autonomous robots; Multi-robot systems; Task assignment; Multi-agent path-finding; Robotics and Artificial Intelligence; Robotik och artificiell intelligens;

    Sammanfattning : Robots are increasingly utilized in industry for their capability to perform repetitive,complex tasks in environments unsuitable for humans. This surge in robotic applicationshas spurred research into Multi-Robot Systems (MRS), which aim to tackle complex tasksrequiring collaboration among multiple robots, thereby boosting overall efficiency. 2. 22. Robot Task Learning from Human Demonstration

    Författare :Staffan Ekvall; Danica Kragic; Marcus Vincze; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Robotics; Machine Learning; Artificial Intelligence; Computer Vision; Programming by Demonstration; Grasp Mappping; Grasp Recognition; Robot Grasping; Planning; Autonomous Robots; Computer science; Datalogi;

    Sammanfattning : Today, most robots used in the industry are preprogrammed and require a welldefined and controlled environment. Reprogramming such robots is often a costly process requiring an expert. By enabling robots to learn tasks from human demonstration, robot installation and task reprogramming are simplified. LÄS MER

  3. 23. Functional understanding of space : Representing spatial knowledge using concepts grounded in an agent's purpose

    Författare :Kristoffer Sjöö; Patric Jensfelt; David Vernon; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; spatial representation; autonomous robots; spatial understanding; semantic mapping; spatial relations; visual search; robot search;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis examines the role of function in representations of space by robots - that is, dealing directly and explicitly with those aspects of space and objects in space that serve some purpose for the robot. It is suggested that taking function into account helps increase the generality and robustness of solutions in an unpredictable and complex world, and the suggestion is affirmed by several instantiations of functionally conceived spatial models. 4. 24. Reactive Navigation Methods for Autonomous Robots: Safety, Coordination, and Field Deployment

    Författare :Björn Lindqvist; George Nikolakopoulos; Christoforos Kanellakis; Alberto Bemporad; Luleå tekniska universitet; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Field Robotics; NMPC; Obstacle Avoidance; Collision Avoidance; Multi-agent Systems; Robot Navigation; Robotics and Artificial Intelligence; Robotik och artificiell intelligens;

    Sammanfattning : In the new era of intelligent systems, small-scale electronics, and advanced sensors, the application use-cases and operational capabilities of autonomous robots are exponentially increasing. Through their ability to execute complex tasks while relying only on onboard sensors and computation, autonomous field robots are showing promising results in inspection of infrastructure, search-and-rescue or surveillance, maintenance tasks, or in general operations in areas that prove to be dangerous or hazardous for human operators to enter, while also often increasing the efficiency of such tasks.
