38. Up the hill backwards : On interactional constraints and affordances for equity-constitution in the classrooms of the Swedish comprehensive school
Sammanfattning : The aim of the dissertation is to study the relationship between participation in classroom interaction and constraints and affordances for creating equity in classrooms. To facilitate this analysis, two other issues are also addressed: How is participation in classroom interaction organized, and how can one develop ways of recording and analyzing it in order to show its organization? Based on a social constructionist perspective, an analytic approach of interaction analyses of constitutive interaction, with a focus on participation, was established. LÄS MER

Sammanfattning : The goal of this work was to evaluate the performance of a classical method for predicting vocal tract cross-sectional areas from cross-distances, to be implemented in speaker-specific articulatory modelling. Sammanfattning : The need for detailed description of eating behavior has become relevant by the limited success of simplified models in genetics and neuroscience to explain and predict eating behavior in humans. Failure of cognitive interventions, combined with the success of treatments normalising eating styles in obesity and eating disorders, demonstrates the central role of eating in dealing with these problems.
