3. Vivat vår monark! : Carl Michael Bellmans panegyrik över Gustaf III 1771-1792
Sammanfattning : Carl Michael Bellman (1740–1795), who is chiefly associated with wine, song, a wayward poetic style, and little care for politics, wrote laudatory poetry to King Gustavus III (1746–1792) during the period 1771–1792. His royalist poems have been mostly viewed as uncharacteristically pompous and rigid, and neglected in favor of the vivacious song-cycles Fredman’s Epistles and Fredman’s Songs. LÄS MER

Sammanfattning : This thesis deals with Lennart Hellsing's works, and especially his texts for small children, from 1945 to 2000. In an introductory survey the oral transmission of literature is discussed in relation to orality and literacy. 5. Raising Voices : Singing repertoire and practices in Swedish schools
Sammanfattning : This doctoral study aims to (i) investigate current song repertoire and singing practices in Swedish elementary school music education and (ii) to critically assess what factors may be seen to affect singing practices and repertoire choice. It looks to map out how much young students are singing in the general music classroom, what they sing, and how they sing, and to discuss possible implications for pedagogical practice from an ethnomusicological perspective.
