Sammanfattning : This study investigates the philological aspects of how ancient Greek, Latin and Hebrew/Aramaic texts, including the New Testament, depict the practice of punishment by crucifixion. Sammanfattning : In this thesis, I take a closer look at three books that have received a lot of attention, as well as a handful of popular science and newspaper articles, about Anders Behring Breivik and the terrorist attack in Norway on 22 July 2011, with the intention of analyzing how Breivik and the terrorist attack have been explained and made sense of. My primary focus is on Breivik but I also touch upon the attack, partly by looking at how the violence is depicted in these texts, and partly by discussing the explanations given for the attack. 19. Mobile Performances : A Philosophical Account of Linguistic Undecidability as Possibility and Problem in the Theology of Religion
Sammanfattning : How to judge religions other than one's own when the means are lacking due to linguistic mobility? In the present thesis this question is mainly analysed in a Christian setting through a reading of the theologians Paul Knitter and Harold Netland. It is, however, claimed that the same question could be asked in other religious settings, also with regard to one's own tradition, and could be treated as a general question?how to judge, evaluate, and criticise religion if the means to do that are lacking? Sammanfattning : The present study deals with the linguistic situation in the Aosta Valley, which is situated in Northern Italy. Several languages, dialects as well as "patois" are used in this area and this thesis concerns three of them, namely Francoprovençal, French and Italian.
