Sammanfattning : In this thesis, I analys suburb- and housing planning and interior decoration carried out primarily in Stockholm between the 1930s and the 1950s. Functionalism, the overall concept of the period, has perhaps been interpreted in terms of ideological concepts, interpreted as "democratic" and as a progressive dividing line between the past and the future. The technique is referred to as Bioplex (biological complex) in analogy with the nomenclature for other transfection reagents, since we attach biological functions to a nucleic acid complex via sequence-specific hybridisation. 13. Becoming Artists : Self-Portraits, Friendship Images and Studio Scenes by Nordic Women Painters in the 1880s
Sammanfattning : The aim of this dissertation is to analyze how Nordic women artists negotiated their professional identity in painting in the 1880s, focusing on the genres of the self-portrait, the friendship image and the studio interior. It investigates how artistic identity is fashioned through self-representation, collaboration with a colleague and in interaction with the interior of the studio as a constitutive space of artistic professionalism. 14. DYSTOCIA IN NULLIPAROUS WOMEN - Incidence, outcomes, risk indicators, and women’s experiences
Sammanfattning : Aim: To estimate the incidence of dystocia, to describe outcomes of labour with dystocia and augmentation, to identify anthropometrical-, life style-, obstetric- and clinical risk indicators for dystocia, to elucidate nulliparous women’s experiences of prolonged labours and to describe some aspects of the midwifery care during labour and delivery. Sammanfattning : Burials with oval brooches from the Viking Age settlements in Britain, Ireland, and Iceland have frequently been interpreted as the graves of a specific and uniform group of people: (pagan) Scandinavian women of relatively high status. This interpretation is partly a result of the way in which the material has been treated, as static entities with more or less fixed meanings. LÄS MER
