    Sammanfattning : The environmental consequences associated with the use of fossil-sourced fuels and chemicals have brought with it a realization that future development must move in a more sustainable direction. Currently available biofuels or renewably produced chemical, such as bioethanol or biodiesel, are produced from microbial fermentation of sugar-rich crops or by chemical conversion of natural oils or fats.
