Sammanfattning : The present dissertation deals with self-representation in a corpus consisting of narrative texts about the exile from Chile, Uruguay and Argentina, that reached Sweden during the 1970s and 1980s. Sammanfattning : The aims of this dissertation is to explore the function of the five Spanish expressions; en todo caso, en calquier caso, de todos modos, de todas maneras, de todas formas in the different corpora included in CREA, the Contemporary Spanish database of the Spanish Academy, from a pragmatic interactional theoretical point of view. The CREA database contains over 125 million words from different genres, from both spoken and written texts and from both Spain and Latin America. LÄS MER

Sammanfattning : The core of the present work is a first edition of the first part of the Latin correspondence of Hermann Samson, Sweden's Superintendent of Churches in Livonia (1622-1643), with Axel Oxenstierna, the Chancellor of Sweden (1612-1654). The epistles date from 1621 to 1630, covering a period of tremendous change for Samson, Livonia, Sweden and Poland. LÄS MER

Sammanfattning : Sophia Elisabeth Brenner (1659-1730) was Sweden's first great female poet, writing and publishing her poems over a period of fifty years. She was also, however, a prolific letter writer. The dissertation is based on an inventory of all the preserved letters to and from her written in Latin, Swedish, French and Italian. LÄS MER
