36. Vision-based Human Detection from Mobile Machinery in Industrial Environments
Sammanfattning : The problem addressed in this thesis is the detection, localisation and tracking of human workers from mobile industrial machinery using a customised vision system developed at Örebro University. Coined the RefleX Vision System, its hardware configuration and computer vision algorithms were specifically designed for real-world industrial scenarios where workers are required to wear protective high-visibility garments with retro-reflective markers. 37. Data Driven AI Assisted Green Network Design and Management
Sammanfattning : The energy consumption of mobile networks is increasing due to an increase in traffic demands and the number of connected users to the network. To assure the sustainability of mobile networks, energy efficiency must be a key design pillar of the next generations of mobile networks. LÄS MER
38. Advancing Automation in Digital Forensic Investigations
Sammanfattning : Digital Forensics is used to aid traditional preventive security mechanisms when they fail to curtail sophisticated and stealthy cybercrime events. The Digital Forensic Investigation process is largely manual in nature, or at best quasi-automated, requiring a highly skilled labour force and involving a sizeable time investment. LÄS MER
39. Tools for Designing Mobile Interaction with the Physical Environment in Outdoor Lessons
Sammanfattning : Mobile technologies are increasingly being used to support students in outdoor learning activities. For instance, in a growing number of research projects, smartphones and positioning technologies are being used to support students in exploring the natural environment. LÄS MER
40. On the Move : Science and Development Behind Learning Sensorimotor Contingencies in the Mobile Paradigm
Sammanfattning : Exploring the body and environment is essential for development. Detecting and learning contingent relationships between one’s own actions and their consequences instantiates such exploration. Furthermore, it facilitates the development of sense of agency, body awareness, and consciousness. LÄS MER
