  1. 1. Recognition requirements and regulatory events directing T cell responses

    Författare :Martin Gullberg; Eva-Lotta Larsson; Umeå universitet; []
    Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; T cell growth factor production; Lyt-2-positive T suppressor cell; Lyt-2-positive cytotoxic T lymphocytes; activation requirements of T lymphocytes; blocking of T cell functions;

    Sammanfattning : The present study has considered cellular and molecular requirements in T cell responses. The central role of T cell growth factors (TCGF) in T cell responses prompted us to study the regulatory events directing TCGF production in lectin stimulated cultures. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Molecular dissection of established and proposed members of the Op18/Stathmin family of tubulin binding proteins

    Författare :Kristoffer Brännström; Martin Gullberg; Fredrik Ivars; Umeå universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Op18 Stathmin; Sm16; tubulin; microtubule; schistosoma mansoni; Molecular biology; Molekylärbiologi;

    Sammanfattning : My initial aim was a functional analysis of the conserved Op18/stathmin family of microtubule-regulators, which includes the ubiquitous cytosolic Op18 protein and the neural membrane-attached RB3 and SCG10 proteins. The solved X-ray structure has shown that these proteins form a complex with tubulin -heterodimers via two imperfect helical repeats, which result in two head-to-tail aligned heterodimers in a tandem-tubulin complex. 3. 3. Regulation and Function of MAP Kinases in PDGF Signaling

    Författare :Glenda Eger; Johan Lennartsson; Carl-Henrik Heldin; Martin Gullberg; Uppsala universitet; []
    Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; PDGF; PDGFR; MAP kinase; Erk1 2; Erk5; Dusp MKP; NR4A1; cancer; Biology with specialization in Molecular Cell Biology; Biologi med inriktning mot molekylär cellbiologi; Medical Cell Biology; Medicinsk cellbiologi;

    Sammanfattning : Platelet-derived growth factor (PDGF) is a family of signaling molecules that stimulates cell growth, survival and migration. PDGF is recognized by specific transmembrane proteins, the PDGF receptors, which relay the signals to the cell activating the Mitogen-activated protein (MAP) kinases and other signaling pathways. 4. 4. Regulation of tubulin heterodimer partitioning during interphase and mitosis

    Författare :Per Holmfeldt; Martin Gullberg; Pontus Aspenström; Umeå universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; microtubule; mitotic spindle; signal transduction; phosphorylation; cancer; Cell and molecular biology; Cell- och molekylärbiologi;

    Sammanfattning : The microtubule cytoskeleton, which consists of dynamic polymers of alpha/beta tubulin heterodimers, organizes the cytoplasm and is essential for chromosome segregation during mitosis. My thesis addresses the significance and potential interplay between four distinct microtubule-regulatory proteins. LÄS MER

  5. 5. Närbyråkrater och digitaliseringar : Hur lärares arbete formas av tidsstrukturer

    Författare :Johan Sandén; Anders Ivarsson Westerberg; Cecilia Gullberg; Martin Qvist; Anette Hallin; Södertörns högskola; []
    Nyckelord :SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; Street-level bureaucracy; Digitalisation; Teachers; Public Administration; Temporal structures; Acceleration; Inertia; Alienation; Coping; Learning Management Systems; Social Media; Digital teaching; Närbyråkrati; Digitalisering; Lärare; Offentlig förvaltning; Tidsstrukturer; Acceleration; Långsamhet; Alienation; Coping; Lärplattform; Utvidgat kollegium; Digitaliserad undervisning; Politics; Economy and the Organization of Society; Politik; ekonomi och samhällets organisering;

    Sammanfattning : This dissertation contributes to street-level and public administration research by showing how digitalisations bring temporal structures for street-level bureaucrats, and what consequences that has. It analyses what digitalisation(s) means, and what consequences it has in public sector street-level work. LÄS MER
