11. Dutch experts in the early modern Swedish state : Employment strategies and knowledge building, 1560–1670
Sammanfattning : This dissertation investigates the role played by Dutch experts in various enterprises and organisations managed or administered by the early modern Swedish state. The work demonstrates how and why Dutch experts were introduced to Sweden, in what manner they were employed by the Swedish state and how their knowledge was utilised in state-controlled organisations. Sammanfattning : This dissertation investigates how far the organisation of a traditional technology corresponds to the degree of social complexity in a sedentary, agrarian society. An examination of the production of flint daggers during the Late Stone Age and Early Bronze Age of Scandinavia indicates the presence of formal apprenticeship systems based on corporate descent groups. Sammanfattning : Most companies and organizations are primarily interested in universities' educational activities and to a lesser extent in universities' research activities. Against this background, it is strange that the research on collaboration between universities and the surrounding society is primarily directed towards research collaboration between universities and companies/organizations and to a lesser extent towards educational collaboration between universities and companies/organizations. Sammanfattning : I avhandlingen analyseras vilken kunskap och diskurser som vägleder socialtjänstens arbete med mäns våld mot kvinnor. Avhandlingens övergripande frågeställningar fokuserar på: diskurser om mäns våld i Socialstyrelsens utbildningsmaterial, socialarbetares kunskapsbehov och hur dessa tillgodoses, samt socialarbetares uppfattningar om mäns våld mot kvinnor. 15. Ideological Closure : Drug Prevention in a Post-political Society
Sammanfattning : The aim of this thesis is to critically examine drug prevention as a field of problematizations – how drug prevention becomes established as a political technology within this field, how it connects to certain modes of governance, how and under which conditions it constitutes it’s problematic, the questions it asks, it´s implications in terms of political participation and representation, the various bodies of knowledge through which it constitutes the reality upon which it acts, the limits it places on ways of being, questioning, and talking in the world.The main analyses have been conducted in four separate but interrelated articles.
