  1. 1. Depression, coronary artery disease and change of lifestyle

    Författare :Eva Söderman; Karolinska Institutet; Karolinska Institutet; []
    Nyckelord :;

    Sammanfattning : Depression has been identified as a risk factor for the development of coronary artery disease (CAD) and has been associated with functional impairment and disability, poor outcome of lifestyle changes, incomplete and prolonged recovery, repeated coronary events, and mortality. Thus, there is substantial evidence that depression has a negative impact on CAD. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Genes encoding homeodomain-leucine zipper proteins in Arabidopsis thaliana

    Författare :Eva Söderman; Uppsala universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Plant physiology; Växtfysiologi; Plant physiology; Växtfysiologi;

    Sammanfattning : A new class of transcription factors, the homeodomain-leucine zipper (HD-Zip) proteins,have been identified in Arabidopsis thaliana. These proteins contain a homeodomainfollowed by a leucine-zipper motif, a combination so far only found in plants. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Jag och mitt fanskap : vad musik kan betyda för människor

    Författare :Eva Kjellander; Boel Lindberg; Petter Dyndahl; Johan Söderman; Christer Bouij; Even Ruud; Örebro universitet; []

    Sammanfattning : This dissertation aims to find further understanding of how people with special interest in a certain artist utilise music and the fact that they are fans in their everyday lives. I have opted to study two fans included in each group selected for this study: Kiss, Status Quo and Lasse Stefanz, one male and one female fan belonging to each respective group. LÄS MER

  4. 4. HDZip I Transcription Factors in Arabidopsis thaliana : Expression and Function in Relation to Environmental Stress Conditions

    Författare :Anna S. B. Olsson; Peter Engström; Eva Söderman; Pieter B. F. Ouwerkerk; Uppsala universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Biology; homeodomain leucine zipper; ABA; transcription factor; water deficit; Arabidopsis thaliana; Biologi; Biology; Biologi;

    Sammanfattning : The homeodomain leucine zipper (HDZip) proteins constitute a plant-specific family of transcription factors, that based on sequence criteria have been grouped into four classes, HDZip I-IV. This thesis describes the phylogeny, function, expression patterns and regulation of the HDZip class I genes in the model species Arabidopsis thaliana. LÄS MER
