    Sammanfattning : This thesis presents a study of the loss of person agreement in the Nordic languages from a diachronic typological perspective. The main purpose is to investigate the following question: When verbal person agreement is lost in a language, and up to six forms are reduced to one, which form will be the one remaining—and why?The study takes a comprehensive approach, covering three major angles: a general linguistic one, a diachronic Nordic one, and a synchronic dialectological Southwestern Swedish one.     Sammanfattning : A large amount of the information in conversations come from non-verbal cues such as facial expressions and body gesture. These cues are lost when we don't communicate face-to-face. But face-to-face communication doesn't have to happen in person. With video communication we can at least deliver information about the facial mimic and some gestures. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : While episodic and spatial memory both depend on the hippocampus, opposite gender differences in these functions suggest they are partly separate, with different neural underpinnings. The anterior and posterior hippocampus differ  in structure and whole-brain connectivity, and studies point to the posterior hippocampus being more involved in spatial memory while the anterior hippocampus’ role in episodic memory is less clear.
