    Sammanfattning : Prior to the Second World War, there was a Swedish-speaking population settled on the north-western Estonian coasts. The early history of this group is largely unknown. No colonisation is mentioned in the written sources. The earliest such sources that mention Swedes originate in the late thirteenth century. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : This dissertation discusses settlements from the end of the Late Bronze Age to the Early Middle Ages in eastern Middle Sweden, especially the Mälar valley area, with a focus on Uppland. Chronologically, the emphasis is in the Early Iron Age. A large number of the settlements were discovered during investigations in the late 80s and early 90s. LÄS MER
