    Sammanfattning : Psykoanalysen är ingen vetenskap eftersom den saknar kunskapsobjekt. Med syftet att finna detta objekt och därmed grunda en vetenskap togs avstamp i Freuds begrepp Det Omedvetna. Genom begreppsanalys av Freuds texter och med hjälp av matematisk mängdlära samt nedslag i filosofi och ontologi kunde en första beskrivning av objektet göras. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : A decline of suicide rate can be accomplished by different psychiatric interventions. Early identification of individuals at risk for future suicide is especially important.     Sammanfattning : The aim of the current thesis was to investigate glial responses to electroconvulsive seizures (ECS), an animal model of the fast-acting antidepressant treatment electroconvulsive therapy (ECT). Depression, a common and devastating disorder, has in recent years been associated with volumetric changes in prefrontal cortex, hippocampus and amygdala, brain regions known to be implicated in emotional behavior.
