  1. 11. Evolution and learning in games

    Författare :Jens Josephson; Handelshögskolan i Stockholm; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis contains four essays that analyze the behaviors that evolve when populations of boundedly rational individuals interact strategically for a long period of time. Individuals are boundedly rational in the sense that their strategy choices are determined by simple rules of adaptation -- learning rules. LÄS MER

  2. 12. Välja teknik? : Ungdomars röster om valet till gymnasiets teknikprogram

    Författare :Anette Pripp; Jakob Cromdal; Thomas Ginner; Linköpings universitet; []

    Sammanfattning : Gymnasievalet är ett viktigt beslut i ungdomars liv. Den här avhandlingen handlar om ungdomars gymnasieval till teknikprogrammet och om hur de beskriver sina skäl till och omständigheter kring att deras val föll på det programmet. Studiens fokus har varit riktat mot vilka motiv som ungdomar framhåller som viktiga för sitt val. LÄS MER

  3. 13. Textteori för läsforskare

    Författare :Christian Mehrstam; Göteborgs universitet. Humanistiska fakulteten; []
    Nyckelord :HUMANIORA; HUMANITIES; SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; HUMANIORA; HUMANITIES; Text theory; reader-response theory; reception æsthetics; systems; Litteraturvetenskap; Literary studies;

    Sammanfattning : The dissertation examines a prevalent problem in reception studies: how can we actually observe and describe the text (defined as an element that enables and restricts reading experiences) as either given and transcendent to any reading practice or as uniquely produced in each reading? The author tries to find a solution by aid of Wittgenstein's philosophy of language, Kenneth Burke's socio-rhetorics and Niklas Luhmann's systems theory. These perspectives are discussed in turn and tested in readings of a few pages on Mayakovsky and futurism taken from a textbook. LÄS MER

  4. 14. Visualising Security through Computer Games : Investigating Game-Based Instruction in ICT Security:an Experimental Approach

    Författare :Kjell Näckros; Louise Yngström; Helen Armstrong; Stockholms universitet; []

  5. 15. Reinforcement Learning and Dynamical Systems

    Författare :Björn Lindenberg; Karl-Olof Lindahl; Marc G. Bellemare; Linnéuniversitetet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; artificial intelligence; distributional reinforcement learning; Markov decision processes; Bellman operators; deep learning; multi-armed bandits; Bayesian bandits; conjugate priors; Thompson sampling; linear finite dynamical systems; cycle orbits; fixed-point systems; Mathematics; Matematik; Computer Science; Datavetenskap;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis concerns reinforcement learning and dynamical systems in finite discrete problem domains. Artificial intelligence studies through reinforcement learning involves developing models and algorithms for scenarios when there is an agent that is interacting with an environment. LÄS MER
