    Sammanfattning : Verlan, the linguistic phenomenon which consists of inverting syllables in the same word, emerged in the 1970s in the outskirts of Paris. It was initially regarded as part of the sociolect Urban French Vernacular and associated with youth language as well as with the suburban estates. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : This dissertation investigates translation strategies and translation principles in technical translation. Five translation students and 5 professional translators from German-speaking Switzerland and 4 translation students and 6 professional translators from Sweden were asked to think aloud while translating a user guide from French into German and from French into Swedish, respectively.     Sammanfattning : This dissertation describes the development of Voice Onset Time (VOT) and liaison in child second language (cL2) French (L1: Swedish) as compared to simultaneous Swedish-French bilinguals (2L1) and monolingual (1L1) French children.
