  3. 13. On the Local Filtration Properties of LignoBoost lignin: Studies of the influence of xylan and ionic strength

    Författare :Julie Durruty; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; acid precipitation.; LignoBoost process; compressible filter cake; particle interactions; xylan; softwood lignin; constitutive relationships; local filtration properties; dead-end filtration;

    Sammanfattning : Kraft pulping technology is currently the most commonly-used method for producing paper pulp from wood. A new and promising opportunity for Kraft pulp mills is to take a step towards becoming biorefineries by implementing technologies able to extract and convert the organic by-products, such as lignin, into a wide range of value-added products and chemicals. Sammanfattning : Research reviews have shown that the use of formative assessment in classroom practice can substantially improve student achievement. However, a strong research base about how to support teachers’ implementation of such formative classroom practice is lacking. LÄS MER

  5. 15. Protein supply in organic broiler production using fast-growing hybrids : welfare and performance aspects

    Författare :Maria Eriksson; Sveriges lantbruksuniversitet; Sveriges lantbruksuniversitet; []
    Nyckelord :LANTBRUKSVETENSKAPER; AGRICULTURAL SCIENCES;

    Sammanfattning : The broiler's requirements of sulphur amino acids (AA) are high; however, currently available organic protein feedstuffs generally contain only low levels. According to national organic standards, fast-growing broilers in organic production are allowed to be slaughtered at 70 d, provided that their average growth rate does not exceed 50 g/day. LÄS MER
