6. Den levande väggen : Färg och arkitektur i svenskt 1970-tal
Sammanfattning : The 1970s in Sweden saw a distinct change of attitude concerning colour inarchitecture, from strong primary colours, grey concrete and brick at the beginning of the decade to a lighter, more nuanced palette of pink and yellow towards the end of it. From being a significant token in a broader popular movement with commercial overtones, colour, as the decade went on, increasingly demanded a professional approach. LÄS MER
7. Disruption of writing in noisy office environments
Sammanfattning : The overall aim of the four experimental studies included in this dissertation was to investigate the influence of background speech on writing performance. In Paper I, a manipulation of speech intelligibility of background speech, by using the Speech Transmission Index (STI), revealed disruptive effects at lower STI values (i.e. LÄS MER

Such an examination is justified due to the broad social significance of pleasure but specific absence of empirical investigations within PE. LÄS MER
10. Mixed Block Copolymer Solutions: Self-Assembly and Interactions
Sammanfattning : This thesis incorporates studies on the aqueous systems of two types of thermoresponsive amphiphilic block copolymers; a series of nonionic triblock copolymers comprising blocks of poly(ethylene oxide) (PEO) and poly(propylene oxide) (PPO) denoted as PEO-PPO-PEO block copolymers, and a series of ionic diblock copolymers consisting of one charged block and one block of poly(N-isopropylacrylamide) (PNIPAAM). Various techniques, such as dynamic and static light scattering (DLS and SLS), small angle X-ray and neutron scattering (SAXS and SANS), high sensitivity differential scanning calorimetry (HSDSC), turbidimetry, electrophoretic mobility measurements, and two-dimensional proton NMR nuclear Overhauser effect spectroscopy (2D 1H NMR NOESY), were applied to study these block copolymer systems.
