  1. 1. Use of remote sensing and in situ observations of the atmosphere in chemical transport models

    Författare :Emma Ward; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Climate; Air quality; Ground based observations; Satellite observations; Chemical transport modelling;

    Sammanfattning : Measuring and simulating atmospheric chemical compositions helps us to better understand the impact from long-range transport of different pollutants. Aerosols and tropospheric ozone are examples of pollutants with life times long enough to get transported between continents. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Substorm Features in the High-Latitude Ionosphere and Magnetosphere : Multi-Instrument Observations

    Författare :Eva Borälv; Hermann Opgenoorth; Mark Lester; Uppsala universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Space and plasma physics; Substorm; Convection; magnetosphere-ionosphere coupling; Rymd- och plasmafysik; Space physics; Rymdfysik; Space and Plasma Physics; rymd- och plasmafysik;

    Sammanfattning : The space around Earth, confined in the terrestrial magnetosphere, is to some extent shielded from the Sun's solar wind plasma and magnetic field. During certain conditions, however, strong interaction can occur between the solar wind and the magnetosphere, resulting in magnetospheric activity of several forms, among which substorms and storms are the most prominent. 3. 3. Satellite and ground based observations of massive star forming regions

    Författare :Henrik Olofsson; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; abundances - ISM; ISM; clouds - ISM; jets and outflows - ISM; ISM - Submillimeter; molecules - Radio lines;

    Sammanfattning : Results from submm/mm radio astronomical observations, using the astronomy/-aeronomy satellite Odin and the 20m telescope at the Onsala Space Observatory, are presented. Analysis of spectroscopic data of interstellar rotational emission lines from gaseous H2O residing in giant molecular clouds (GMCs), reveal important new clues about the chemistry and spatial distribution of water molecules in these regions, including estimates of the water abundance in molecular outflows associated with massive star formation. Författare :Ulf Ekblad; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :Remote sensing; reconnaissance; sensor; information acquisition; satellite imagery; image processing; image analysis; change detection; pixel difference; neuron network; cortex model; PCNN; ICM; entanglement; Earth observation; nuclear explosion; SPO;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis, Earth satellites and detection of air andground based activities by Ulf Ekblad of the Physics departmentat the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), addresses theproblem of detecting military activities in imagery. Examplesof various techniques are presented. LÄS MER

  5. 5. Finding a common ground : a pilot implementation of digital self-managment support in Swedish primary health care

    Författare :Ulrika Öberg; Ulf Isaksson; Åsa Hörnsten; Carl-Johan Orre; Lena Jutterström; Lena Törnkvist; Umeå universitet; []
    Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; Type 2 diabetes; diabetes specialist nurse; district nurse; diabetes care; primary healthcare; eHealth; digitalization; technology; person-centred care; self-management; self-management support; qualitative research; questionnaire; psychometrics; pilot implementation; omvårdnadsforskning med medicinsk inriktning; Caring Sciences;

    Sammanfattning : Background: Due to an ageing, multi-diseased population, type 2 diabetes (T2D) and other chronic conditions pose a challenge for primary healthcare. To meet such challenges, primary healthcare nurses must adapt to new roles and acquire new skills regarding self-management support. LÄS MER
