  1. 1. Att urskilja tekniska system : didaktiska dimensioner i grundskolan

    Författare :Maria Svensson; Jan-Erik Hagberg; Ann Zetterqvist; Åke Ingerman; Berit Bungum; Linköpings universitet; []
    Nyckelord :SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; Technological systems; pedagogical possibilities; technological literacy; critical aspects; phenomenography; Tekniska system; ämnesdidaktik; teknisk bildning; kritiska aspekter; fenomenografi; SOCIAL SCIENCES; SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; Teknikdidaktik; tekniska system; teknisk bildning; fenomenografi; kritiska aspekter;

    Sammanfattning : Syftet med avhandlingen är att bidra till den ämnesdidaktiska kunskapsbasen för undervisning och lärande om tekniska system i grundskolan. Dagens teknikkomplexa samhälle är uppbyggt av system som vi människor interagerar med. Informations-, energi- och kommunikationssystem är exempel på tekniska system som vi kommer i kontakt med dagligen. LÄS MER

  2. 2. The Global Fashion System : On its social-ecological intertwinedness

    Författare :Celinda Palm; Sarah E. Cornell; Tiina Häyhä; Fredrik Moberg; Kate Fletcher; Stockholms universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; Sustainability; Fashion; Social-ecological system; Transdisciplinarity; Critical realism; Positionality; Hållbarhet; Mode; Social-ekologiska system; Tvärvetenskap; Kritisk realism; Positionalitet; vetenskap om hållbar utveckling; Sustainability Science;

    Sammanfattning : The fashion industry contributes to shaping the state of the planet: impacts of production and consumption of textile fast-fashion are rising, and the growing number of sustainability-oriented actions have not slowed current trends. The industry’s (un)sustainability is mainly researched within two epistemic communities: fashion studies concerned with social sustainability, and circular economy focused on material biophysical and technological aspects of material cycles along the value chain. 3. 3. Optimal Decisions with Limited Information

    Författare :Ather Gattami; Institutionen för reglerteknik; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; systems; numerical analysis; Computer science; Convex Optimization; Graph Theory; Team Decision Theory; Game Theory; control; Datalogi; numerisk analys; system; kontroll; Automation; robotics; control engineering; Automatiska system; robotteknik; reglerteknik;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis considers static and dynamic team decision problems in both stochastic and deterministic settings. The team problem is a cooperative game, where a number of players make up a team that tries to optimize a given cost induced by the uncertainty of nature. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Solar cavity receiver design for a dish-Stirling system

    Författare :Jorge Garrido Gálvez; Björn Laumert; Uwe Gampe; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :Concentrating Solar Power; Solar receiver; Solar simulator; Uncertainty analysis; Monte Carlo ray tracing; Experimental validation; Coatings; System modeling; Structural analysis; Creep damage; Thermal stress; Cavity receiver design; Energy Technology; Energiteknik;

    Sammanfattning : The growing concern for the climate change has led to an increasing research effort in renewable energy technologies in order to achieve a more sustainable electricity production. Concentrating Solar Power (CSP) is identified as a promising technology to deal with part of the future electricity production. LÄS MER

  5. 5. Lighting Control Systems for Energy Saving and User Acceptance: State-of-the-art and future directions

    Författare :Niko Gentile; Institutionen för arkitektur och byggd miljö; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; Indoor lighting; lighting control system; lighting control; energy saving; energy efficiency; user acceptance; human factor; occupancy strategies; absence sensor; presence sensor; lighting switch; manual switch; daylight harvesting system; daylight-linked system; photoelectric dimming; photosensor.;

    Sammanfattning : Lighting accounts for one-fifth of global electricity use. In Sweden, energy demand for lighting corresponds to 20% of the total electricity use in office buildings. Lighting retrofit measures are considered to be among the most cost-efficient way to reduce energy use in buildings. LÄS MER
