4. Translational and functional analyses of microRNAs in prostate cancer
Sammanfattning : The aims of this thesis were to identify microRNAs (miRNAs) with prostate cancer prognostic and diagnostic potential, to discover miRNAs with therapeutic capacity against prostate cancer, and to investigate if prostate specific antigen (PSA) is miRNA regulated. 5. Ecological effects of pesticides in freshwater model ecosystems
Sammanfattning : In this thesis I have investigated the effects of pesticide exposure on the ecosystem level using various types of experimental ecosystems, i.e. microcosms. The direct effect of exposure to cyperemthrin, a pyretroid insecticide, was a rapid decrease of crustancean zooplankton in enclosures in a lake. LÄS MER
