16. Design of steel piles for integral abutment bridges
Sammanfattning : In 1999 research was started at Luleå University of Technology with the purpose to collect experiences from USA and UK on bridges with integral abutments and transfer the experience to Swedish conditions. Since then at least 20 integral bridges with one row of piles under each abutment have been built in Sweden and the European research project INTAB has been completed. LÄS MER
17. Probabilistic Modelling of Air Infiltration and Heat Loss in Low-Rise Buildings
Sammanfattning : A probabilistic model (PROMO) of air exchange and heat loss in a low-rise building with a lightweight construction is proposed. The probability distributions of the air change rate and of the heat loss are the main outputs of the model. LÄS MER
18. I samtal med Kronofogden : Hur myndighetsservice görs i språkliga möten mellan inringare och kundservicehandläggare

Inthe building and construction industry, there are great expectations that tall timberbuildings will constitute one of the most sustainable solutions. First, verticalurban growth is energy and resource-efficient. LÄS MER
20. On Modeling and Diagnosis of Friction and Wear in Industrial Robots
Sammanfattning : Industrial robots are designed to endure several years of uninterrupted operation and therefore are very reliable. However, no amount of design effort can prevent deterioration over time, and equipments will eventually fail. Its impacts can, nevertheless, be considerably reduced if good maintenance/service practices are performed. LÄS MER
