11. Quality functions for requirements engineering methods
Sammanfattning : The objectives for this thesis is to establish what aspects of Requirements Engineering (RE) methods are considered important by the users. The thesis is to study an alternative RE method (Action Design), present evaluation results and establish general quality characteristics for RE methods. LÄS MER
12. Silicon device substrate and channel characteristics influenced by interface properties
Sammanfattning : This thesis is divided in two parts, one dealing with the depleted Si/Si structure, which is a substrate behaving as a semi-insulating material intended for radio-frequency applications and the other concerning high-k gate dielectrics (dielectrics with high dielectric constant) as the replacement for silicon dioxide as MOS gate dielectric.High frequency applications of CMOS integrated circuits, to lower cost, achieve higher performance and richer functionality, depends partly on the possibility to decrease the substrate coupling between different parts of the circuit. 13. Demystifying the Black Box - Exploring How Users Make Sense of Fully Automated Vehicles
Sammanfattning : Vehicles are becoming increasingly automated. Already today vehicles are able to take over and assist the human driver in certain driving tasks, and the scope of technical possibilities is rapidly expanding. However, for the proliferation of AVs to occur, there are several challenges that must first be overcome. LÄS MER
14. Development of Biomimetic Catalytic Systems for Selective Oxidations with H2O2 and O2
Sammanfattning : Four different catalytic systems were studied for biomimetic coupled oxidations using H2O2 or O2. In the first example, osmium tetroxide works as a substrate-selective catalyst for dihydroxylation of olefins. Electron transfer to H2O2 is facilitated by electron transfer mediators (ETMs). LÄS MER
