Sammanfattning : In this Licentiate thesis, framed by the Resources framework and Social semiotics, I explore how students and instructors, investigating thermal phenomena with IR cameras, come to conceptually and epistemologically frame the naturalistic settings they participate in. Additionally, I look at how they productively employ resources , what barriers they encounter while reasoning about the thermal phenomena and how the semiotic resources of the IR camera relate to the framing and resources employed in their investigations. 2. 7. Educational technology for visualisation in upper secondary physics education : The case of GeoGebra

Författare :Lorena Solvang; Jesper Haglund; Niklas Gericke; Ellen Karoline Henriksen; Karlstads universitet; []

Sammanfattning : In order to contribute to our understanding of how technologies can be used to visualise physical phenomena in order to support teaching and learning of the phenomena at hand, this licentiate thesis explores the ways in which visual representations created with GeoGebra can be used in upper-secondary physics education. In addition, this thesis provides a new model that can be used to characterise students’ representational competence. LÄS MER
