21. MRI with MR Angiography in Endovascular Repair of Abdominal Aortic Aneurysms
Sammanfattning : The aim of this study was to evaluate MRI with contrast enhanced MR angiography (MRI/CE MRA) as imaging method before and after endovascular repair of abdominal aortic aneurysms (AAA). A 1.5 T scanner was used for all examinations. In this prospective study 26 consecutive patients were included. LÄS MER
22. Molecular Radionuclide Imaging Using Site-specifically Labelled Recombinant Affibody Molecules : Preparation and Preclinical Evaluation
Sammanfattning : Radionuclide molecular imaging is an emerging multidisciplinary technique that is used in modern medicine to visualise diseases at cellular and molecular levels. This thesis is based on five papers (I-V) and focuses on the development of site-specific radiolabelled recombinant anti-HER2 Affibody molecules and preclinical evaluations in vitro and in vivo of the labelled conjugates. 23. Magnetic Resonance Imaging of the Hepatobiliary System Using Hepatocyte-Specific Contrast Media
Sammanfattning : There are two Gadolinium-based liver-specific contrast media for Magnetic Resonance Imaging on the market, Gd-BOPTA (MultiHance®, Bracco Imaging, Milan, Italy) and Gd-EOB-DTPA (Primovist®, Bayer Schering Pharma, Berlin, Germany). The aim of this study in two parts was to evaluate the dynamics of biliary, parenchymal and vascular enhancement using these contrast media in healthy subjects. LÄS MER
24. Cost and benefits of cone beam computed tomography : for maxillary canines with eruption disturbance
25. Dose Management in Diagnostic Radiology - application of the DICOM imaging standard and a Monte Carlo dose engine for exposure surveillance
Sammanfattning : Ionizing radiation is used in diagnostic radiology with a large contribution to the health of the patients. The regulations to limit the detrimental effects, e.g. cancer induction, are based on recommendations from the International Commission on Radiological Protection (ICRP). LÄS MER
