    Sammanfattning : The purpose of the dissertation is to bring to light and focus upon, through a number of disparate investigations, the socio-cultural ideology and practices expressed in some of the dance events which constitute an echo of the cry implied by the most canonized ballet of the 1900s, Le Sacre du Printemps choreographed in 1913 by Vaslav Nijinsky.     Sammanfattning : This thesis proposes a unique quantitative investigation of the long-term development of modern states in Sub-Saharan Africa. This is done by measuring and analysing the dynamic history of tax revenue, as a key measure of the capacity of the state, and development in four countries in francophone West Africa – Benin, Côte d’Ivoire, Niger and Senegal – over the long 20th century.     Sammanfattning : The excavation of the Sanctuary of Poseidon at Kalaureia in 1894 marks the beginning of Swedish archaeological fieldwork in Greece. During a couple of hot summer months, two philologists from Uppsala University, Sam Wide (1861-1918) and Lennart Kjellberg (1857-1936), worked in the sanctuary together with the architect Sven Kristenson (1858-1937), the Greek foreman Pankalos and around twenty local workmen.
