  1. 16. General practitioners’ antibiotic prescribing practices in Malta : understanding drivers to inform the implementation of a social marketing behaviour change intervention

    Författare :Erika A Saliba Gustafsson; Karolinska Institutet; Karolinska Institutet; []
    Nyckelord :;

    Sammanfattning : Background: Antibiotic resistance is a leading global public health problem and complex challenge. Although a multitude of factors affect its development, antibiotic use is a key driver. In fact, in Europe, a positive correlation between antibiotic use and resistance has been shown. LÄS MER

  2. 17. Implementation of a behavioural medicine approach in physiotherapy : Determinants, clinical behaviours, patient outcomes and the implementation process

    Författare :Johanna Fritz; Maria Sandborgh; Anne Söderlund; Lena Almqvist; Lars Wallin; Siw Carlfjord; Mälardalens högskola; []
    Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; behaviour change; behaviour medicine; determinants; implementation; musculoskeletal pain; physiotherapy; primary health care; process evaluation; sustainability; beteendeförändring: beteendemedicin; determinanter; fysioterapi; implementering; muskuloskeletal smärta; primärvård; processutvärdering; vidmakthållande; fysioterapi; Physiotherapy;

    Sammanfattning : Current research shows that a behavioural medicine approach in physiotherapy increases the ability to participate in daily activities and decreases sick leave in patients with persistent musculoskeletal pain. A behavioural medicine approach means that the physiotherapist systematically considers biopsychosocial factors of importance for the patient's activity and participation. LÄS MER

  3. 18. Interaktion i särskilt boende för personer med utvecklingsstörning och utmanande beteende

    Författare :Helena Antonsson; Sture Åström; Ulla Hällgren Graneheim; Mats Lundström; Mats Granlund; Umeå universitet; []
    Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; Fysiska begränsningsåtgärder; interaktion; intervention; kommunikation; mixed methods; utmanande beteende; utvecklingsstörning; web-baserad utbildning; omvårdnadsforskning med medicinsk inriktning; Caring Sciences;

    Sammanfattning : Bakgrund: Många personer med utvecklingsstörning har kommunikativa svårigheter och har därför behov av att utveckla olika sätt att kommunicera för att kunna förstå andra och göra sig förstådda. Svårigheter i kommunikationen påverkar interaktionen mellan personer med utvecklingsstörning och deras vårdare. LÄS MER

  4. 19. Searching for food in complex environments : Integrating processes at multiple spatial scales

    Författare :Thomas Alexander Verschut; Peter Hambäck; Peter Anderson; Ring Cardé; Stockholms universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Associational effects; Natal experiences; Olfaction; Oviposition; Plant Ecology; växtekologi;

    Sammanfattning : Resources are often unevenly distributed through the environment, resulting in a challenging task for insects to locate food, mates and oviposition sites. Consequently, there is an ongoing need to unravel how insects rely on behavioural and sensory traits while searching for resources in heterogeneous environments. LÄS MER

  5. 20. Wave Loads and Peak Forces on Moored Wave Energy Devices in Tsunamis and Extreme Waves

    Författare :Linnea Sjökvist; Malin Göteman; Mats Leijon; Peter Stansby; Uppsala universitet; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; OpenFOAM; CFD; Wave power; Tsunami waves; Extreme waves; Offshore; Engineering Science with specialization in Science of Electricity; Teknisk fysik med inriktning mot elektricitetslära;

    Sammanfattning : Surface gravity waves carry enormous amounts of energy over our oceans, and if their energy could be harvested to generate electricity, it could make a significant contribution to the worlds power demand. But the survivability of wave energy devices in harsh operating conditions has proven challenging, and for wave energy to be a possibility, peak forces during storms and extreme waves must be studied and the devices behaviour understood.
