16. High-Level Synthesis for SiLago : Advances in Optimization of High-Level Synthesis Tool and Neural Network Algorithms
Sammanfattning : Embedded hardware designs and their automation improve energy and engineering efficiency. However, these two goals are often contradictory. The attempts to improve energy efficiency often come at the cost of engineering efficiency and vice-versa. High-level synthesis (HLS) is a good example of this challenge. LÄS MER
17. Study on Decentralized Machine Learning and Applications to Wireless Caching Networks
Sammanfattning : To promote the development of distributed machine learning, it is crucial to provide efficient models and training algorithms. This thesis is devoted to the design of distributed multi-task learning and decentralized algorithms, as well as the application of distributed machine learning in wireless caching networks. LÄS MER
18. Molecular Recognition Studies Based on Imprinting Technology
Sammanfattning : In this thesis, I have focused on five main research areas: 1). A new type of imprinted polymer has been developed, namely the amide MIP. The amide functional monomers showed better hydrogen bonding capabilities in polar organic solvents and the resulting polymers exhibited good enantiomeric recognition properties in organic media. 19. Adaptability of skeletal muscle to hormone treatment in relation to gender and aging
Sammanfattning : The aims of this study were to investigate the expression of myosin isoforms, muscle contractility at the cell level, and changes in these parameters in response to altered hormonal status in aging male and female rodents. In addition, by using mice lacking thyroid hormone receptors (TR[alpha]1 or TR[beta] or TR[alpha]1/[beta]) we tried to improve our understanding of the mechanisms by which thyroid hormone regulates the expression of specific MyHC isoforms via these different nuclear receptors. 20. Polyunsaturated fatty acids in relation to childhood and maternal allergic diseases
Sammanfattning : The aim of this thesis was to study polyunsaturated fatty acid (PUPA) in relation to the appem11nce of anergic diseases in children and mothers in late pregnancy and during the lactation period and to the development of atopy in children, as well as the influence of maternal PUF A on their babies. The levels of docosahexaenoic acid (DHA, C22:6n-3) and total n-3 long-chain polyunsaturated fatty acids (LCP) were lower (p = 0.
