    Sammanfattning : The main purpose of the performed research presented in this thesis is to increase the understanding of the effect of variability of strength properties on the reliability of timber structural systems.     Sammanfattning : The synthetic estrogen 17α-ethinylestradiol (EE2) is an endocrine disrupting chemical (EDC) of concern due to its persistent nature and widespread presence in the aquatic environment. In mammals, effects of developmental EDC exposure on reproduction and behavior not only persist to adulthood after discontinued exposure, but are also inherited by several consecutive unexposed generations.     Sammanfattning : In the years 1983-1984, the Swedish Comittee for the Prevention and Treatment of Depression (PTD) offered an educational program to all general practitioners (GP:s) on the Swedish island of Gotland. 1982 was used as a baseline year.
