   Sammanfattning : Cancer immunotherapy and especially immune checkpoint blockade therapy has revolutionized cancer treatment in many tumor types including breast cancer (BC). The expression and specific role of Programmed Death-1 (PD-1)/Programmed Death-Ligand 1 (PD-L1) signaling axis, immune-related gene signatures and immune cell subpopulations needs to be fully elucidated while the identification of prognostic and predictive biomarkers in BC is of utmost importance.
