   Sammanfattning : This thesis is concerned with the Romanian Orthodox poet, director of the journal G�ndirea, and theologian, Nichifor Crainic (1889-1972), and with the two over-arching ecclesiological themes in his writings between 1922 and 1944 ? the pancosmic Church and specificul rom�nesc (the particularity of Romanian identity). Though these are fundamentally related to each other, there are many tensions between them, as the relationship between local and particular identity and pancosmic universality is worked out against the complex political backdrop of 20-th century Romania.    Sammanfattning : This dissertation examines the renewal of the diaconate since the Second Vatican Council 1962 to 1965, focusing on the problem of the new diaconate to establish an identity within the ministry and to gain legitimacy both from the priesthood and the laity. The thesis brings forth the idea that the fathers of the Council decided to carry out the reform as an experiment after receiving a proposal to renew the diaconate. LÄS MER
