  1. 1. Verktyg i lokalt säkerhetsarbete med särskilt fokus på olycksutredningar

    Författare :Mattias Strömgren; Ragnar Andersson; Lars Harms-Ringdahl; Kjell Harald Olsen; Karlstads universitet; []
    Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; Municipal safety management; local safety management; risk management; tools for safety management; risk analysis; accident investigation; methods for accident investigation; accident investigation process; accident analysis; Kommunalt säkerhetsarbete; lokalt säkerhetsarbete; riskhantering; verktyg för säkerhetsarbete; riskanalys; olycksutredning; metoder för olycksutredning; olycksutredningsprocess; olycksanalys; Public Health Science; Folkhälsovetenskap;

    Sammanfattning : Kommuner har en unik position i säkerhetsarbetet genom att vara nära både medborgarna och de olyckor och skador som drabbar befolkningen. Trots långtgående framsteg inom teknologi och ett etablerat välfärdssamhälle utgör personskador till följd av olyckor ett betydande folkhälsoproblem i Sverige liksom i övriga nordiska länder. 2. 2. Exploring the Railway System from a Risk Governance Perspective

    Författare :Alexander Cedergren; Lunds universitets centrum för riskanalys och riskhantering (LUCRAM); []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; risk governance; railway; framing; accident investigation; implementation; vulnerability; resilience; critical infrastructure;

    Sammanfattning : In recent decades, the Swedish railway system has faced substantial deregulations. As a result, management of risk is often carried out in settings involving multiple stakeholders having various roles, mandates, and viewpoints on risk, and where no single stakeholder has the superior authority. 3. 3. Experience feedback in practice

    Författare :Anna-Karin Lindberg; Sven Ove Hansson; Ann Enander; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :HUMANIORA; HUMANITIES; Experience feedback; accidents; incidents; accident investigations; CHAIN model; learning process.; Philosophy subjects; Filosofiämnen;

    Sammanfattning : The subject of this licentiate thesis is experience feedback from accidents and incidents. The thesis aims to contribute to an understanding of how the learning processes within organizations, companies and authorities could be improved. LÄS MER

  4. 4. CFD Study of Molten Pool Convection in a Reactor Vessel during a Severe Accident

    Författare :Boshen Bian; Walter Villanueva; Sevostian Bechta; Weimin Ma; Shuisheng He; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :Severe accident; Corium; Natural convection; Turbulence; Scalability; Direct numerical simulation DNS .; Svåra haverier; härdsmälta; naturlig konvektion; turbulens; skalbarhet; direkt numerisk simulering DNS .; Physics; Fysik;

    Sammanfattning : During severe accidents in nuclear reactors, the core and internal structures can melt down and relocate into the reactor pressure vessel (RPV) lower head (LH) forming there a stratified molten corium pool. The pool generally consists of superheated oxidic and metallic liquid layers imposing thermo-mechanical loads on the RPV wall. LÄS MER

  5. 5. On Fuel Coolant Interactions and Debris Coolability in Light Water Reactors

    Författare :Sachin Thakre; Weimin Ma; Florian Fichot; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; severe accident; fuel-coolant interactions; melt jet fragmentation; steam explosion; debris bed coolability; uncertainty analysis; Energiteknik; Energy Technology;

    Sammanfattning : During the case of a hypothetical severe accident in a light water reactor, core damage may occur and molten fuel may interact with water resulting in explosive interactions. A Fuel-Coolant Interactions (FCI) consists of many complex phenomena whose characteristics determine the energetics of the interactions. LÄS MER
