  1. 26. Actor-Spectator in a Virtual Reality Arts Play

    Författare :Magali Ljungar-Chapelon; Göteborgs universitet; []
    Nyckelord :HUMANIORA; HUMANITIES; Artistic crossover; Virtual Reality Art; VR-Cube; Immersion; Interactivity; Experience of art; Audience experience; Performing arts;

    Sammanfattning : This doctoral project brings to the fore the specificity of the artistic experience when the Virtual Reality Cube, a medium based on immersive virtual reality technology, is used as artistic virtual space, where the stage and the auditorium blend into one and spectators and actors no longer have distinctive roles. It consists of three integrated parts: a written thesis, a VR artwork and a DVD, which illustrates the text, the production process of the VR work, and which also presents an interpretation of the research results in filmic and photographic form. 2. 27. In Your Face! – Designing Future Interaction Models for Internet of Things and Augmented Reality

    Författare :Günter Alce; Ergonomi och aerosolteknologi; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Internet of Things; Augmented Reality; Wearables; Virtual Reality; Prototyping; User interface;

    Sammanfattning : It is estimated that the number of devices connected to the Internet will be 50 billion by 2020. How should a not-so-tech-savvy end user be able to discover and directly interact with a myriad of connected things in an intuitive and comfortable manner? Up until now, smartphones have shown potential for managing the Internet of Things (IoT) environments, but we cannot rely on that technology. LÄS MER

  3. 28. Virtual Collaborative Design Environment: Information structure and interfaces

    Författare :Shahin Sateei; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; cross-project learning; Collaborative Virtual Environment CVE ; Design Guidelines; virtual reality; Head-mounted display HMD ; User involvement;

    Sammanfattning : The failure to identify design issues in early phases of construction projects has been identified as a significant cause of costly rework, as these issues can impact the building occupants’ abilities to efficiently perform their daily work tasks. Therefore, it is crucial to consider their feedback when design reviewing. LÄS MER

  4. 29. Virtual reality based kinematics for assessment of post-stroke upper limb function

    Författare :Netha Hussain; Göteborgs universitet; []
    Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; stroke; motion analysis; upper extremity; arm function; kinematics; virtual reality; outcome assessment; rehabilitation; recovery of function; task performance and analysis;

    Sammanfattning : The main scope of this thesis was to develop a method for assessing the upper limb sensorimotor function following stroke using virtual reality-based technique. The studies reported in this thesis included 67 individuals extracted from the SALGOT (Stroke Arm Longitudinal Study at the University of Gothenburg) cohort and 43 healthy controls. LÄS MER

  5. 30. Development and Implementations of Virtual Reality for Urban Planning and Building Design

    Författare :Mattias Roupé; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
