Sammanfattning : International petrol companies established themselves in Sweden in the mid-1920s and took control of the petrol trade in a manner that, within a relatively short space of time, left a clear imprint on the natural and built environments. The absence of petrol stations from the narrative of modern architecture raises questions about how this type of building should be understood.
