11. Oxycodone in Forensic Toxicology : Analytical Strategies and Interpretation
Sammanfattning : Oxycodone is a common finding in forensic casework and widely used as an analgetic. Oxycodone’s pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic properties make the interpretation of post mortem oxycodone blood concentrations complicated. LÄS MER
12. Metal-Free Catalysis for Efficient Synthesis
Sammanfattning : The strength of efficient metal-free catalysis will be examined in this thesis. Efforts towards more sustainable processes will be demonstrated through implementation of strategies that meet several of the 12 principles of Green Chemistry. LÄS MER
13. Livsstilsförändringar och "grön" teknik : Om relationen mellan ekonomisk och ekologisk rationalitet i miljöpolitiken
Sammanfattning : This dissertation is a study on the contemporary environmental policy discourse called ecological modernisation and especially on eco-modernist social theory. Its central tenet on the (forthcoming) simultaneous existence of economic rationality and ecological rationality constitutes the primary object of an ‘explanatory critique’. LÄS MER
14. Weighted Bergman kernels and biharmonic Green functions
Sammanfattning : The main theme of this thesis is the connection between weighted biharmonic Green functions and weighted Bergman kernels. In the first paper, which is a joint work with H. Hedenmalm and S. Shimorin, we prove that weighted biharmonic Green functions are positive for weights which satisfy a mean-value condition and whose logarithms are subharmonic. LÄS MER
15. Secondary chlorophyll a luminescence decay kinetics from green algae and higher plants : mechanisms and application
Sammanfattning : Barley protoplasts were shown to be a suitable experimental system for studies on the relative maximum during the decay of luminescence observed in most photosynthetic systems after excitation with far red light and in the presence of O2. The far red induced relative luminescencemaximum was shown to be a result of three coinciding events:*Randomization of the S-states of the water splitting system during illumination with far red light.
