  1. 21. Regulation of Human Papillomavirus Type 16 mRNA Splicing and Polyadenylation

    Författare :Xiaomin Zhao; Stefan Schwartz; Barklie Clements; Uppsala universitet; []
    Nyckelord :Medical sciences; human papillomavirus type 16; gene regulation; splicing; polyadenylation; 3 UTR; MEDICIN OCH VÅRD; MEDICINE; MEDICIN;

    Sammanfattning : Human papillomavirus type 16 (HPV-16) is the major causative agent of cervical cancer. The life cycle of this oncogenic DNA tumour virus is strictly associated with the differentiation program of the infected epithelial cells. Expression of the viral capsid genes L1 and L2 can only be detected in the terminally differentiated epithelial cells. LÄS MER

  2. 22. Novel Cutaneous Human Papillomaviruses and Biomarkers in the Skin Lesions

    Författare :Natasa Vasiljevic; Malmö Klinisk mikrobiologi; []
    Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; prevalence; E7 protein; Non-melanoma skin cancer; biomarkers; keratoachantoma; Human papillomavirus;

    Sammanfattning : Non-melanoma skin cancer (NMSC), comprising of squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) and basal cell carcinoma (BCC), is the most prevalent cancer amongst Caucasians. The main risk factor for the development of NMSC is UV-irradiation but human papillo-mavirus (HPV) might be a co-factor. LÄS MER

  3. 23. Genital human papillomaviruses. Studies of their occurrence, type spectrum and expression

    Författare :Ola Forslund; Malmö Klinisk mikrobiologi; []
    Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; mRNA expression; microwell; HPV 70; type determination; CIN; quantification; urine; multifocal infections; hybridization; PCR; HPV; human papillomavirus; Microbiology; bacteriology; virology; mycology; Mikrobiologi; bakteriologi; virologi; mykologi;

    Sammanfattning : The occurrence of genital human papillomavirus infection was determined in different categories of patients by means of PCR. In high proportion of young women attending an adolescent clinic, the presence of HPV DNA was demonstrated in simultaneously urethral and cervical samples, suggesting that genital HPV infections are often multifocal. 4. 24. The Regulation of Human Papillomavirus Type16 Early Gene Expression

    Författare :Xiaoxu Cui; Avdelningen för medicinsk mikrobiologi; []
    Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; Human papillomavirus; splicing; hnRNP D; m6A; LCR;

    Sammanfattning : AbstractHuman papillomaviruses (HPVs) are small non enveloped viruses that contain a double-stranded circular DNA genome of approximately 8kb in size. It has been estimated that approximately 5% of all cancers are caused by HPV infection. Cervical cancer represents the majority of HPV-associated anogenital cancers worldwide. LÄS MER

  5. 25. Monoclonal antibodies against human papillomavirus E7 oncoprotein for diagnosis of cervical neoplasia and cancer

    Författare :Maria Lidqvist; Göteborgs universitet; []
    Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; Human papillomavirus HPV ; Cervical cancer; Cervical neoplasia; E7 oncoprotein; Monoclonal antibodies; Cytology; Immunocytochemistry; Phage display;

    Sammanfattning : Cervical cancer is the second most common cancer among women worldwide with half a million of new cases every year. Cervical cancer is caused by oncogenic human papillomaviruses (HPVs), with HPV16 and 18 being the most frequently detected types. LÄS MER
