  1. 1. Molecular mechanisms in cervical carcinogenesis : Studies of clonality, somatic genetic alterations and human papillomavirus variants in cervical pre-invasive and invasive cancer

    Detta är en avhandling från Uppsala : Acta Universitatis Upsaliensis

    Författare :Zhongmin Guo; Uppsala universitet.; [2000]
    Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; Genetics; cervical cancer; CIN; clonality; X-chromosome inactivation; LOH; HPV; chromosome 3p; chromosome 6; Genetik; MEDICINE Dermatology and venerology; clinical genetics; internal medicine Clinical genetics; MEDICIN Dermatologi och venerologi; klinisk genetik; invärtesmedicin Klinisk genetik; Pathology; patologi;

    Sammanfattning : Cervical cancer derives from a series of pre-invasive cervical neoplastic lesions termed CIN I-III (Cervical Intraepithelial Neoplasia) via typical multiple-step processes. In contrast to premalignant disorders in other organs, different degrees of CIN possess a distinct biological behaviour where a proportion spontaneously regress or persist, whereas some progress to invasive cancer. 2. 2. Targeting the human papillomavirus for prevention of cervical cancer

    Detta är en avhandling från Medical Microbiology, Lund University

    Författare :Pontus Naucler; Lund University.; Lunds universitet.; [2007]
    Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; bakteriologi; virologi; Mikrobiologi; mycology; virology; bacteriology; prevention; Microbiology; CIN; vaccine; cervical intraepithelial neoplasia; screening; cervical cancer; Human Papillomavirus; HPV; mykologi; Public health; epidemiology; Folkhälsa; epidemiologi;

    Sammanfattning : Different types of human papillomavirus (HPV) vary in the extent they cause precursor lesions (CIN) and cancer. There are limited long-term efficacy data on HPV testing in primary screening Among 72 cervical cancers in Mozambique, HPV 16 and 18 were the most frequent HPV types (69% of cases). LÄS MER

  3. 3. Molecular Pathogenesis of Cervical Carcinoma Analysis of Clonality, HPV16 Sequence Variations and Loss of Heterozygosity

    Detta är en avhandling från Uppsala : Acta Universitatis Upsaliensis

    Författare :Xinrong Hu; Uppsala universitet.; [2001]
    Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; Genetics; cervical carcinoma; CIN; HPV; LOH; X-chromosome inactivation; clonality; molecular pathogenesis; Genetik; MEDICINE Dermatology and venerology; clinical genetics; internal medicine Clinical genetics; MEDICIN Dermatologi och venerologi; klinisk genetik; invärtesmedicin Klinisk genetik; Pathology; patologi;

    Sammanfattning : A previous model of morphological pathogenesis assumed that cervical carcinoma is of monoclonal origin and progresses through multiple steps from normal epithelium via CINS into invasive carcinomas. The aim of this study was to investigate the molecular mechanism of pathogenesis of cervical neoplasia. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Genital human papillomaviruses. Studies of their occurrence, type spectrum and expression

    Detta är en avhandling från Virology

    Författare :Ola Forslund; Lund University.; Lunds universitet.; [1997]
    Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; mRNA expression; microwell; HPV 70; type determination; CIN; quantification; urine; multifocal infections; hybridization; PCR; HPV; human papillomavirus; Microbiology; bacteriology; virology; mycology; Mikrobiologi; bakteriologi; virologi; mykologi;

    Sammanfattning : The occurrence of genital human papillomavirus infection was determined in different categories of patients by means of PCR. In high proportion of young women attending an adolescent clinic, the presence of HPV DNA was demonstrated in simultaneously urethral and cervical samples, suggesting that genital HPV infections are often multifocal. 5. 5. Crossing the Midline Locomotor Neuronal Circuitry Formation

    Detta är en avhandling från Uppsala : Acta Universitatis Upsaliensis

    Författare :Fatima Memic; Uppsala universitet.; [2012]
    Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; CPG; CIN; neuronal network; locomotion; left-right alternation;

    Sammanfattning : Networks at various levels of the nervous system coordinate different motor patterns such as respiration, eye or hand movements and locomotion. Intrinsic rhythm-generating networks that are located in the spinal cord generate motor behaviors that underlie locomotion in vertebrates. LÄS MER
