    Sammanfattning : Reindeer appear to have strong positive effects on plant productivity and nutrient cycling in strongly nutrient-limited ecosystems.     Sammanfattning : The overarching aim of the thesis was to draw a livelihoodscape from the slum. The questions guiding this endeavour were: Where do slum dwellers carry out their livelihood activities and how can these spatial livelihood patterns be understood? This involved outlining how livelihoods emerged from and interacted with the slum; following how they detached themselves and unfolded further in urban space; and finally, how they transcended the urban territory and migrated onwards to translocal destinations.     Sammanfattning : The objective of this licentiate’s dissertation is the developing occupational role of ‘personligt ombud’ (PO), a case manager for persons with severe psychiatric disabilities. The purpose of PO, put forward by a government’s commission (Psykiatriutredningen) 1992, was to implement a new way of providing support and to coordinate interventions with an aim to improve the life conditions of persons with severe psychiatric disabilities.
