  1. 1. GNSS hardware biases in code and carrier phase observables

    Författare :Martin Håkansson; Milan Horemuz; Anna B. O. Jensen; Lambert Wanninger; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; GNSS; GNSS positioning; hardware biases; phase biases; multi-GNSS; GPS; GLONASS; Galileo; BeiDou; satellite dependency; characterization; android; mass market; Group delay variations; nadir dependence; ionosphere modeling; ionospheric tomography; Geodesy and Geoinformatics; Geodesi och geoinformatik; Geodesi; Geodesy;

    Sammanfattning : GNSS hardware biases appear in code and phase observations, and originates both from the receiver and satellite hardware. The presence of biases in GNSS observations might affect the accuracy in precise GNSS positioning applications, and might also be of relevance in other GNSS applications. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Hardware biases and their impact on GNSS positioning

    Författare :Martin Håkansson; Anna B. O. Jensen; Milan Horemuz; Jan Johansson; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; GNSS positioning; Hardware biases; multi-GNSS; GPS; GLONASS; Galileo; BeiDou; Geodesy and Geoinformatics; Geodesi och geoinformatik;

    Sammanfattning : GNSS hardware biases appear in code and phase observations, and originates both from the receiver and satellite hardware. These biases influence the accuracy in precise GNSS positioning if not handled properly. LÄS MER

  3. 3. On GPS receiver architectures

    Författare :Jonas Thor; Luleå tekniska universitet; []
    Nyckelord :;

    Sammanfattning : Navigation can be described as the art of finding the way from one location to another. Clearly navigation is something that we perform in our every day lives and the role of navigation can not be underestimated. There exist many technologies that implement various navigation systems to aid in this process. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Plasma Interactions with Icy Bodies in the Solar System

    Författare :Jesper Lindkvist; Mats Holmström; Martin Wieser; Elias Roussos; Umeå universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURAL SCIENCES; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; plasma interactions; icy bodies; solar system; space physics; plasma physics; hybrid model; numerical model; solar wind; magnetosphere; sub-Alfvénic; subsonic; non-collisional; atmosphereless; exosphere; coma; subsurface ocean; induction; magnetic dipole; pick-up ion; mass-loading; moon; natural satellite; dwarf planet; comet; Jupiter; Jovian; Callisto; Ceres; 67P; Churyumov-Gerasimenko; rymd- och plasmafysik; Space and Plasma Physics;

    Sammanfattning : Here I study the “plasma interactions with icy bodies in the solar system”, that is, my quest to understand the fundamental processes that govern such interactions. By using numerical modelling combined with in situ observations, one can infer the internal structure of icy bodies and their plasma environments. LÄS MER

  5. 5. Företagskulturers makt : överbrygga språkliga klyftor

    Författare :Gunnar Berg; Bo Göranzon; Anders Karlqvist; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :SOCIAL SCIENCES; SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; dialogue; experience; reflection; project; understanding; corporate power; corporate culture; philosophy of language; communication; Human communication; Kommunikation mellan människor;

    Sammanfattning : How do we work in projects that are expected to bridge cultural, social and historical boundaries? Is it possible to apply stated instructions across these boundaries so that, for example, the task of producing a requirement specification is interpreted in the same way by all the parties involved? In this thesis, the author takes a stand against his personal experience from such a trans-cultural project – a project in which he failed. A factor that made a strong contribution to this failure was the inability of the companies involved to manage the underlying complex of problems, problems associated with the philosophy of language.
