I den mängd empiriska studier som legat till grund för detta har främst en eller två organisatoriska nivåer fokuserats när relationerna mellan strategier, styrning och konkurrenskraft diskuterats.     Sammanfattning : The aim of the present doctoral thesis was to investigate the ability of patients with Alzheimer's disease (AD) to utilize cognitive support in order to improve episodic remembering. A review of previous research indicated that most studies have failed to find beneficial effects of encoding support on memory in AD patients. LÄS MER

In recent years some interesting deviations from the established rules of verbal memory have been observed in subjects who have been asked to motorically self-perform (enact) action sentences at the encoding phase of the memory task, instead of only hearing or reading them as in a traditional verbal task (VT).     Sammanfattning : Bilingualism and its effect on individuals have been studied within different disciplines. Although the first psychological study of bilingualism was couducted by Cattell as early as 1887, only a few studies have exclusively investigated the effect of bilingualism on memory systems’ functioning.
