Sammanfattning : Alzheimer’s disease (AD) is the most common form of dementia, occurring in an estimated 24 million people worldwide. Accumulation of amyloid-b peptides leads to development of plaques in the brain, which eventually stimulates hyperphosphorylation of tau proteins leading to tangles.
