  1. 11. An inquiry into the nature and causes of digital platforms

    Författare :Ted Saarikko; Katrin Jonsson; Jonny Holmström; Panos Constantinides; Umeå universitet; []
    Nyckelord :SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; Digital platform; platform strategy; platform development; stability; affordance theory; qualitative study; data- och systemvetenskap; computer and systems sciences;

    Sammanfattning : While the shape and nature of platforms varies across different instances, they pursue common ambitions such as reduction of risk, complexity, or transaction costs. Although initially theorised in industrial contexts, subsequent theorising regarding platform development, platform ecosystems, and platform strategy has drawn upon studies of high-tech industries in general and IT-based platforms in particular. 2. 12. Strategies for Reducing Vibrations during Milling of Thin-walled Components

    Författare :Bertil Wanner; Cornel Mihai Nicolescu; Thomas Björk; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Milling; vibrations; chatter; stability; prediction; thin-wall; Inconel 718; Manufacturing and materials engineering;

    Sammanfattning : Factors such as environmental requirements and fuel efficiency have pushed aerospace industry to develop reduced-weight engine designs and thereby light-weight and thin-walled components. As component wall thickness gets thinner and the mechanical structures weaker, the structure becomes more sensitive for vibrations during milling operations. LÄS MER

  3. 13. High-Quality Perovskite Films for Efficient and Stable Light-Emitting Diodes

    Författare :Heyong Wang; Feng Gao; Olle Inganäs; Xiaoke Liu; Ifor David William Samuel; Linköpings universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; perovskite light-emitting diodes; efficiency; stability; growth process; ion migration;

    Sammanfattning : Metal halide perovskites have attracted significant attention for light-emitting applications, because of their excellent properties, such as high photoluminescence quantum yields (PLQYs), good charge mobility, narrow emission bandwidth, readily tunable emission spectra ranging from ultraviolet to near-infrared, and solution processability. Since the first room-temperature perovskite-based light-emitting diodes (PeLEDs) reported in 2014, tremendous efforts have been made to promote the efficiencies of PeLEDs, including theoretical simulation, materials design, and device engineering. 4. 14. Determination of mercury chemical speciation in the presence of low molecular mass thiols and its importance for mercury methylation

    Författare :Van Liem-Nguyen; Erik Björn; Ulf Skyllberg; Cynthia Gilmour; Umeå universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Mercury; methylmercury; LMM thiol; mass spectrometry; biogeochemistry; soil; sediment; ICP; WinSGW; modeling; S XANES; ligand exchange; stability constant; boreal wetlands; analytisk kemi; Analytical Chemistry; Environmental Science; miljövetenskap;

    Sammanfattning : Methylmercury (MeHg) is a neurotoxic compound that threatens the well-being of humans and wildlife. It is formed through the methylation of inorganic mercury (HgII) under suboxic/anoxic conditions in soils, sediment and waters. LÄS MER

  5. 15. Protein Microarrays Based on Single Framework Recombinant Antibody Fragments (SINFABS) - Catcher and Carrier - A Crucial Combination

    Författare :Cornelia Steinhauer; Institutionen för immunteknologi; []
    Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; Immunology; serology; transplantation; Immunologi; serologi; probe; coupling chemistry; solid support; stability; scFv; antibody microarray; protein microarray; Biotechnology; Bioteknik;

    Sammanfattning : Antibody-based microarrays are among the novel class of rapidly evolving proteomic technologies. In recent years, antibody microarrays have emerged as a unique tool for high-throughput protein expression profiling with great promise within biomedicine and a wide range of potential applications, including disease diagnostics and biomarker discovery.
