Swedish tax law is, contrary to the law of evidence, based on the principle of legality. LÄS MER
22. Development and evaluation of outcome measures in children with knee disorders
Sammanfattning : Background and aim: The knee joint is one of the most common sites for injury in children. Severe knee injuries are often associated with long-term symptoms, functional impairment and disability. Today there is a lack of appropriate clinical outcome measures to evaluate knee function in children with knee disorder. LÄS MER
23. Numerical Investigation of Aerodynamic Blade Excitation Mechanisms in Transonic Turbine Stages
Sammanfattning : With the present drive in turbomachine engine developmenttowards thinner and lighter bladings, closer spaced blade rowsand higher aerodynamic loads per blade row and blade, advanceddesign criteria and accurate prediction methods for vibrationalproblems such as forced response become increasingly importantin order to be able to address and avoid fatigue failures ofthe machine early in the design process. The present worksupports both the search for applicable design criteria and thedevelopment of advanced prediction methods for forced responsein transonic turbine stages. LÄS MER
24. Laboratory methods for investigation of the immunological orchestra in response to pathogens
Sammanfattning : Laboratory methods used for investigation of immune response often involve collection of whole blood and analysis of different biomarkers in blood components or generated from pathogen stimulation of whole blood or peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMC). Methods used to measure biomarkers are for example enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) which measures one biomarker at a time or multiplex assays for example x-unknown, multi-analyte profiling (xMAP) by Luminex or proximity extension assay (PEA), which can measure up to just over 3000 biomarkers at a time.
