  1. 1. I godsets skugga? Frälsebonden på Ängsö : Familj och arbete 1700-1880

    Författare :Göran Samuelsson; Lars N ilsson; Kerstin Sundberg; Stockholms universitet; []
    Nyckelord :HUMANIORA; HUMANITIES; LANTBRUKSVETENSKAPER; AGRICULTURAL SCIENCES; landed estates; manor; enclosure; agricultural crisis; farm mechanisation; organisation of labour; agricultural workers; peasants; paternalism; power; political culture; everyday resistance; costomary tenants; landlords; free tenants; possessery rights; use-rights; rent; acreage of arable; deeds; Västmanland; Sweden; Swedish language; Svenska språket; Agricultural history;

    Sammanfattning : At the beginning of the 18th century, around 95 percent of Sweden’s working population were engaged in some form of agricultural activity. They were mainly peasants who were administratively divided into three separate categories, skatte, krono and frälse farmers. LÄS MER

  2. 2. In situ remediation of contaminated sediments using thin-layer capping : effectiveness in contaminant retention and ecological implications

    Författare :Göran Samuelsson; Jonas Gunnarsson; Maria Granberg; Stockholms universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Thin layer capping; sediment remediation; activated carbon; contaminated sediment; benthic community; Systems Ecology; systemekologi;

    Sammanfattning : Hydrophobic organic contaminants (HOCs) often reside in sediment sorbed to particles, most tightly to particles with high content of organic carbon. If persistent, such pollutants can accumulate in the sediment for many years and constitute a contamination risk for sediment-living organisms and organisms at higher trophic levels, including humans. 3. 3. The use of fluorescence techniques for the study of some membrane-bound photosynthetic properties and some effects of copper on the thylakoid membrane

    Författare :Göran Samuelsson; N. Valanne; Umeå universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; chlorophylI-protein complexes; sequential extraction; ß-carotene low temperature fluorescence emission; absorption; in vivo chi. a fluorescence; copper; electron transport;

    Sammanfattning : Lyophilized pea chloroplasts were extracted in a stepwise manner in an organic solvent (petroleum ether) with increasing polarity which was obtained by addition of small amount of ETOH (0-1 %). Absorption and low temperature fluorescence emission spectra were measured on both the extracted thylakoids and on isolated chlorophylI-protein complexes. LÄS MER

  5. 5. Targeting and function of CAH1 : Characterization of a novel protein pathway to the plant cell chloroplast

    Författare :Stefan Burén; Göran Samuelsson; Muriel Bardor; Umeå universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Arabidopsis; chloroplast; endomembrane system; CAH1; protein targeting; N-glycosylation; Molecular biology; Molekylärbiologi; molekylärbiologi; Molecular Biology;

    Sammanfattning : The chloroplast is the organelle within a plant cell where photosynthesis takes place. This organelle originates from a cyanobacterium that was engulfed by a eukaryotic cell. LÄS MER
