Using the theoretical and methodological framework of Conversation Analysis, this thesis investigates how patients and healthcare professionals talk about fever, measure body temperature and negotiate the significance of temperature measurements in acute primary care encounters.     Sammanfattning : This thesis is a grammatical description of South Saami, a Uralic language traditionally spoken in central Sweden and Norway. South Saami has today around 500 speakers, many of whom live far from each other.
