1. Functional Fiber Based Materials for Microsystem Applications
Sammanfattning : This thesis explores the integration of functional electrospun micro- and nanofiber based materials in two fields of microsystem technology: fibrous scaffolds as cell culture substrates and fiber-reinforced metal matrix composites as thermal interface materials (TIMs).Electrospun structures have been found to carry great potential as biomimicking microenvironments for future tissue engineering and cell culture applications. 2. Functional Fibers for Biomedical and Thermal Management Applications
Sammanfattning : This thesis explores the integration of electrospun polymeric structures in two fields; fibrous scaffolds as cell culture substrates for biomedical applications and fiber carrier networks in metal matrix polymer composites as thermal interface materials in microsystems. Electrospinning has been found to carry great potential for a range of future biomedical engineering applications. LÄS MER
3. Samtal om samspel. Kvalitetsuppfattningar i musiklärares dialoger om ensemblespel på gymnasiet
Sammanfattning : The purpose of this thesis is to analyse music teachers’ collegiate discourses on ensemble playing with regard to dialogically expressed criteria and conceptions of quality, and to relate these criteria and conceptions to the national governing documents for upper secondary ensemble education. 5. (Investigating) MNCs' CSR-related behaviour and impacts in institutionally and culturally distant markets : African developing-countries in focus
Sammanfattning : The overall purpose of this thesis is to explore why and how institutional distance and contextual differences influence MNCs’ CSR-related behavior in African developing-countries. In order to achieve the purpose stated above, the thesis seeks to answer the overarching research question: How do institutional distance and contextual differences influence MNCs’ CSR-related behavior in African developing countries? To answer the research question this thesis employed an interpretive methodological approach in order to increase my understanding of the CSR phenomenon in a specific contextual environment characterized by different institutional distance through different theoretical and empirical perspectives (Guba and Lincoln, 1994; Lincoln and Guba, 2000).
