  1. 21. Supporting Data Interaction and Hybrid Asymmetric Collaboration Using Virtual Reality Within the Context of Immersive Analytics

    Författare :Nico Reski; Aris Alissandrakis; Andreas Kerren; Petra Isenberg; Linnéuniversitetet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; 3D gestural input; 3D radar charts; 3D user interfaces; empirical evaluation; head-mounted display; hybrid asymmetric collaboration; immersive analytics; spatio-temporal data interaction; user interface design; virtual reality; 3D-handinteraktion; 3D-radardiagram; 3D-användargränssnitt; design av användargränssnitt; empirisk utvärdering; huvudburen display; hybrid-asymmetrisk samarbete; immersiv analys; virtuell verklighet; Computer Science; Datavetenskap; Informations- och programvisualisering; Information and software visualization;

    Sammanfattning : Immersive display and interaction technologies have rapidly evolved in recent years, offering advanced techniques compared to traditional Human-Computer Interaction. Computer-generated Virtual Environments viewed with stereoscopic depth perception and explored using 3D spatial interaction can represent more accurately how humans naturally interact in the real world. 2. 22. Virtual Human Characters for Autonomous Vehicle-to-Pedestrian Communication

    Författare :Alexandros Rouchitsas; Håkan Alm; Jessica Körning-Ljungberg; Jonas Lundberg; Luleå tekniska universitet; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; external human-machine interfaces; pedestrian acknowledgement; vehicle intention; traffic safety; traffic flow; gaze direction; facial expression; Engineering Psychology; Teknisk psykologi;

    Sammanfattning : Pedestrians base their street-crossing decisions on both vehicle-centric cues, like speed and acceleration, and driver-centric cues, like gaze direction and facial expression. In the future, however, drivers of autonomous vehicles will be preoccupied with non-driving related activities and thus unavailable to provide pedestrians with relevant communicative cues. LÄS MER

  3. 23. Simulator-Based Design : Methodology and vehicle display application

    Författare :Torbjörn Alm; Kjell Ohlsson; Martin Helander; Peter Hancock; Linköpings universitet; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Simulator-Based Design SBD ; Human-in-the-loop simulators; Virtual prototyping; In-vehicle systems; Human-machine interaction HMI ; 3D situation displays; Adaptive interfaces; Work sciences and ergonomics; Arbetsvetenskap och ergonomi;

    Sammanfattning : Human-in-the-loop simulators have long been used in the research community as well as in industry. The aviation field has been the pioneers in the use of simulators for design purposes. In contrast, corresponding activities in the automotive area have been less widespread. LÄS MER

  4. 24. Consideration of anthropometric diversity : Methods for virtual product and production development

    Sammanfattning : Ergonomics and Human Factors address factors important to consider in the product and production development process. This is done through a User Centred Design process where focus is put on human-machine interactions. LÄS MER

  5. 25. Passive Island Detection of Microgrid by Grid Forming Inverter

    Författare :Shoaib Salim Inamdar; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; microgrid; passive island detection; Grid forming; rotor angle deviation; non-detection zone; inertia; virtual synchronous machine; voltage vector shift.;

    Sammanfattning : The supply reliability of a local grid will be improved if the local grid is managed as a microgrid, with the ability to operate in island mode when the main grid is temporarily unavailable. This thesis focuses on microgrids powered by inverter-based resources (IBRs), one or several of which need to be equipped with grid forming (GFM) capability for establishing and controlling the voltage and frequency of the microgrid during island operation.
