    Sammanfattning : Background Stress urinary incontinence (SUI) is the leakage of urine when coughing, sneezing, or on exertion. It affects 10-35% of women, and can impair quality of life (QOL). The purpose of this thesis was to evaluate the short- and long-term outcome of a new surgical treatment protocol, including early tendon loading and ROM training, in comparison with non-surgical treatment using a functional brace.
