    Sammanfattning : Tick-borne encephalitis virus (TBEV) is a neurotropic member of the genus Flavivirus. It may transmit to humans through the bite of an infected tick or consumption of unpasteurized dairyproducts, and causes tick-borne encephalitis (TBE). Sammanfattning : Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer-related death globally, with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) constituting 85% of cases. The introduction of immunotherapies and targeted therapies have dramatically improved the prognosis and outcome for a subset of patients, and stressed the development of diagnostic tools for effective patient selection. 4. 9. Imbalanced kynurenine pathway in schizophrenia and depression : immunological and genetic aspects

    Författare :Xicong Liu; Karolinska Institutet; Karolinska Institutet; []
    Nyckelord :;

    Sammanfattning : Kynurenic acid (KYNA), an end metabolite of the kynurenine pathway along tryptophan degradation, has gained increasing interest in the pathophysiology of psychiatric disorders. Elevated levels of KYNA have been found in the cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) and in the postmortem brain of patients with schizophrenia and bipolar disorder with psychotic symptoms. LÄS MER
