  1. 31. How Service Ideas Are Implemented : Ways of Framing and Addressing Service Transformation

    Författare :Tim Overkamp; Stefan Holmlid; Johan Blomkvist; Alison Prendiville; Linköpings universitet; []
    Nyckelord :HUMANIORA; HUMANITIES; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; service transformation; service implementation; service innovation; design; service logic; value co-creation; industrial service design;

    Sammanfattning : As a field in practice and academia, service design is moving out of its formative phase. In service design research, the realisation of service transformation from idea to service practice and the ways that design(ers) can contribute to this process are topics that are not well understood yet. 2. 32. Information Visualization Using Transparent Displays in Mobile Cranes and Excavators

    Författare :Taufik Akbar Sitompul; Rikard Lindell; Björn Lisper; Philippe Palanque; Mälardalens högskola; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; HUMANIORA; HUMANITIES; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Computer Science; datavetenskap;

    Sammanfattning : Operating heavy machinery, such as mobile cranes and excavators, is a complex task. While driving the machine, operators are also performing industrial tasks, e.g. lifting or digging, monitoring the machine’s status, and observing the surroundings. LÄS MER

  3. 33. Circular design through co-creation: Exploring perspectives and future directions for design in a circular economy

    Författare :Giliam Dokter; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :HUMANIORA; HUMANITIES; Circular Economy; Co-creation; Design practice; Prototyping; Design for Sustainability; Circular Design;

    Sammanfattning : In the efforts to stimulate sustainable development, the circular economy aims to establish ‘closed-loop’ flows of resources in a way that enables businesses and society to reap benefits from maintaining products, components and materials at their highest utility and value, while simultaneously reducing the generation of waste. Designing for a circular economy will require designers to, more than ever, anticipate how artifacts function and change over time and conceptualise the entire lifecycle (including the design, production, use and end-of-life phase) in a coherent and holistic way. 4. 34. Perpetual perspectives : on designing for aesthetic engagement

    Författare :Jeroen Peeters; Anna Croon Fors; Ambra Trotto; John Zimmerman; Umeå universitet; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; interaction design; embodiment; embodied interaction design; design research; aesthetic interaction; aesthetic engagement; engagement; design; design;

    Sammanfattning : This dissertation investigates aesthetics of engagement in -interaction. Aesthetic refers to the aesthetic experience, based on a phenomenological and pragmatist understanding: dynamic and personal, appealing mutually to - and formed inseparably by - our bodily, emotional, as well as intellectual faculties. 5. 35. Designing for Intercorporeality : An Interaction Design Approach to Technology-Supported Movement Learning

    Författare :Laia Turmo Vidal; Annika Waern; Dag Svanæs; Uppsala universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Interaction Design; Movement Learning; Movement Teaching; Biofeedback; Wearables; Constructive Design Research; Research through Design; Practice Design; Soma Design; Technology Probes; Strong Concept; Movement Aesthetics; Människa-dator interaktion; Human-Computer Interaction;

    Sammanfattning : Technology-supported movement learning has emerged as an area with ample possibilities within Human Computer Interaction and Interaction Design, as interactive technology can help people to develop and improve sensorimotor competencies. To date, design research has largely focused on technology development and on supporting individual learning experiences. LÄS MER
